Operations Manager

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £65k-£72k

A large manufacturing company is currently looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. This position reporting into the General Manager, provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities. The objective is to maximize growth and profitability. This position also provides day-to-day leadership and management of operations functions.

Operations Manager - Job Role:

  • Accountable for the overall safe operations of our manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensures that all products are made to our customer’s specifications and that we adhere to all quality requirements.
  • Ensures that the site maintains its ISO registration.
  • Responsible for overall management to achieve customer satisfaction. Must establish and interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates.
  • Establishes annual budget targets as well as production requirements and ensures the expected performance criteria are achieved.
  • Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
  • Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
  • Develop and create strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees.
