• Investigate poor product quality – internal and customer complaints:
• Be involved in Identifying possible trends in internal rejects,
• Prepare and assist with preparation of 8D reports
• Ensure material is rejected correctly both at suppliers and internally
• Action ICA’s to contain defect and protect customer
• Support measurement system analysis (MSA) requirements
• Issue of supplier reject notes
• First off, random sample inspection
• Issue batch numbers as required for MoD material and products
• Identify, obtain quotation and requisition consumables and measuring equipment as required
• Perform audits in accordance with IATF and ISO9001 requirements
