Senior Buyer
Location: Leeds
Salary: c£35k

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a Manufacturer, based in Leeds.

The successful person will help to implement a long-term sourcing strategy into the business and provide guidance to other members of the team.

Senior Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Working with the Purchasing Manager to implement a long-term purchasing strategy
• Work with the team to deliver departmental goals
• Provide guidance to other members of the team
• Analyse current supplier base and identify potential new suppliers
• Ensure product quality remains high
• Ensure company trading terms and additional commercial obligations

Senior Buyer - Job Requirements:

• Good experience sourcing from Europe, ideally from an Automotive background
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Commercially astute
• Ability to travel to Europe and the Far East
