Salary: up to £45k

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Construction Materials Buyer to join one of the UK's fastest growing regional house builders. They operate in various sectors, including Commercial, Historical, Listed Buildings, Private Housing and New Build Developments.

This is a great opportunity to implement a fresh purchasing system to take the company to the next level with your previous experience and insight.

Senior Construction Materials Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Procuring global price deals for materials for all active and planned future sites.
• Arranging the delivery of bulk orders in line with the build program for each site, working closely with the Construction Director.
• Eliminating all same day collection orders from site.
• Maintaining excellent relationships with current clients and the ability to develop relationships with new clients.
• Keeping up to date with current deals in the market.
• You will manage an assistant buyer and ensure all admin tasks are in order.

Senior Construction Materials Buyer - Job Requirements:

• Previous construction material buying
• Ability to take off quants from working drawings will be an advantage
• Previous buying experience is essential
