Senior Estimator
Location: Hatfield or Reading
Salary: c£45k

I am recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join a growing Engineering business, based in Hatfield. The successful person will have experience compiling tenders for Engineering projects.

Senior Estimator - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Pricing with cost up including labour, materials and sub supply
• Understand commercial and technical requirements of each bid, assess work methods with the Contracting Team and any challenges, acting as customer contact during the bid process and negation with prospective clients at contract stage
• Maintain and develop strong customer contacts
• Close liaison with fellow bid team members

Senior Estimator - Job Requirements:

• Have experience pricing tenders
• A background in Fabrication and/or Steelwork desired
• Computer literacy including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Customer focused
