Location: West Bromwich

Salary: £50k - £60k plus excellent benefits

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a large PLC Automotive manufacturing company as their Supply Chain Manager.

Supply Chain Manager – about the role

The company are currently going through some massive cultural changes and part of the changes is to recruit a hands on, pro-active Supply Chain Manager who can set up the Supply Chain processes, implement and introduce an ERP / MRP System from scratch, Reduce purchasing spend, Look into suppliers and negotiate more favorable terms etc.

There is loads of quick easy wins that can be had as well as some longer terms projects with the potential for major results. The company has 3 other sites, 1 in the UK, 1 in the USA and 1 in China. Within the next year or two the expect this position to grow into a Group Role.

Supply Chain Manager - job requirements:

The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Supply Chain Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Ideally hold a CIPS Membership or Qualification
• Come from an Automotive, Aerospace or Metal Fabrication – Welding Industry
• Set up a Supply Chain function from scratch.
• Implemented an MRP / ERP System
• Strong supplier negotiation skills and proven cost reduction experience
